Artrageously Ramsay Ong, to be precise. Attractive site devoted to the considerable talent (and not inconsiderable ego) of one of Sarawak's leading painters.

Into the Art Of Borneo
Excellent Tribal Arts feature on the artistic traditions of the Kayan and Kenyah peoples.

Rengah Sarawak
A number of NGOs contribute to this site which aims to give an alternative view of some of the difficulties facing certain communities in Sarawak. Includes an online shop selling Sarawakian arts and crafts. Proceeds from online sales go directly to the communities who supply the various crafts.

Sarawak Alive!
This site features more of our travel articles, extracts from local publications, free homepage hosting, classified ads and even a list of job vacancies with the Sarawak State Government.

Sarawak Specialist Society
A philatelic society devoted to the stamps of Sarawak, Brunei and British North Borneo (nowadays Sabah).

Ted Pack
Ex Peace Corps volunteer Ted Pack writes about his time spent in sleepy Saratok in the early 1970's.

Vanishing Cultures @ nationalgeographic.com
A short photo essay on the Penan.

The Vanishing Tattoo
Canadian Tom Lockhart's "search for the last authentic tattoo". The Borneo section has excellent photographs and articles. You don't need to be a tattoo fan to enjoy this splendid site.

BOOKS

A Sabah-based bookshop selling a wide range of Borneo-related books.

Masa Jepun
An overview of Bob Reece's excellent book on the Japanese occupation of Sarawak.
